Aurys Surfine Green Clay is a natural, finely ground clay, known for its absorbent and purifying properties.
Extracted in the heart of Sardinia in Italy, it is ideal for purifying the skin, regulating excess sebum and eliminating impurities, leaving the skin clear and revitalized.
Rich in minerals and trace elements, it is also used for its remineralizing and soothing properties, helping to relieve skin irritations.
This clay is particularly suitable for normal to oily skin and can be easily incorporated into your home care, as a mask or poultice.
Superfine green clay is best known for its cosmetic uses, but in the yard and garden it can also be useful thanks to its very fine grain and strong absorbent power.
Packaged in France, this superfine clay is 100% natural, without additives or preservatives.
Uses – Cosmetics:
- Preparing the clay paste:
Pour the desired amount of clay into a glass or wooden container. Gradually add spring water, stirring with a non-metallic spatula until a smooth paste is obtained. Let stand for approximately 30 minutes before use. - As a beauty mask:
Apply a thin layer of clay paste to a clean, dry face and neck, avoiding the eye and lip area. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Gently pat dry with a cotton towel. Finish with a moisturizer suited to your skin type. - As a poultice:
Apply a thick layer of clay paste to sensitive or hairy areas. Leave on for at least 1 hour without letting the paste dry. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a cotton towel. Discard the used clay after each application. - In the bath to soften the skin:
Sprinkle the clay powder into the bath water and stir to disperse it well. This purifying bath helps soften the skin.
Uses – Yard and garden:
- Clean and polish without scratching: garden furniture (varnished wood, plastic, metal, resin), outdoor tiles, windows, stainless steel, tools.
- Absorbs grease and light stains: barbecues, terraces, paving stones, pool edges.
- Soil care: mixed with soil, it helps improve water retention in overly sandy soils and provides minerals.
- Plant protection (in traditional use): some people use it as a very diluted spray or sprinkled lightly at the base of plants to limit insect attacks and protect young shoots.
